Wedding Shoes

3.5 months away means I need to learn how to walk in heels. Why did I do this to myself? My feet always get so sore and achy after wearing heels for even a couple minutes. I've been told to wear these around the house until the wedding to break them in and I'm hoping it works!

I have to last through a couple dances, pictures, and a big walk down the aisle in these things. I love them, though. I bought them in 2011 at Wal-Mart for $20!! I had stuffed them in my closet and just recently took them out in time to go to my first gown fitting. They're so perfect that they don't need to alter the length of my dress for me to wear them! I'm also eye-level with Rob. No bridal hunch back for us!

I'm torn about whether I should glitter the toes? I have some silver glitter and I think it would look really good but they also look really good as they are.

What did/do your wedding shoes look like?

ps. There's a new layout coming on A Broke Bride soon!!1 I'm sooooooooooo excited! and the invitations are in the finishing step and so those will be printed and mailed out too! I'm pumped to share with you :)

  2. They're adorable! Walk around the house doing your typical daily chores and before you know it you won't even notice you're wearing heels!

  3. i wore chacos for my wedding! It was an outdoor barn wedding and my husband and I are just kids who met at camp and are Colorado grown! I wanted something comfortable and easy to wear all night and really felt like "me" :)
